Commissioned by Darius Farhoumand and premiered on March 29th, 2025 in Morse Recital Hall, Sprague Memorial Hall at the Yale School of Music, New Haven, CT, this work pays homage to the floating feelings one experiences while processing a great loss—from the stillness in the breath to empathizing with the leaves of the trees as they endure the ravaging wind under the bleak moonlight.
