Written for the Cascade Composer's Sinfonietta, FREEDOM UNCANNY is inspired by the devastation of culture and hope in Iran, my country of origin. The melodic theme represents hope and a new beginning while the rhythmic section along with the shot chords represents a genocidal march and death.
