Danial Sheibani (b.2003) is an Iranian-Canadian composer, conductor, pianist, vocalist, and educator currently residing in Toronto. He explores themes of imperfections in the human psyche. Working with evocative soundscapes that aim to create trance-like atmospheres and shuffle the listener’s perception of time. To have listeners experience vivid imagery of their own life's memories and be introduced to new worlds of sensation, thought, and feeling.

Sheibani has worked with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, Norfolk New Music Ensemble, the University of Toronto Opera and Symphony Orchestra, the Verona Quartet, and many more. He is also the recipient of esteemed accolades including the SOCAN Young Composers Award, the Ellen Battell Stoeckel Fellowship, and the Lloyd Bradshaw Prize. Currently, he is pursuing the fourth year of his Bachelor of Music at The University of Toronto, studying under Christos Hatzis, where he is the Co-Founder, Conductor, and Director of Finance of the Blank Canvas Sound Collective.
